Kappa Nu Omega Sorority, Inc.
In 2019, a seed was planted—rooted in a vision to create a sacred space where women could rise with intention, be embraced in their softness, and build a legacy of service and self-worth. A lifelong advocate for community uplift, Jasmine Kelly first sparked the idea for a non-profit organization in 2019—driven by a passion to create a space where women, especially women of color, could find intentional sisterhood, healing, and purpose. That vision, sparked by one woman’s heart, became a movement when it was shared with three others who saw the light in it and said, “Let’s build this together.”
From that moment, what began as a nonprofit concept evolved into something much deeper: a sisterhood. Kappa Nu Omega Sorority, Inc. was born out of purpose, persistence, and prayer. It was created for women like you—women who know what it means to pour into others,
That vision took official form on July 24, 2024, when those four determined women—Jasmine Kelly, Venita Tolliver, (Founder Emeritus)Jasmine Childress, and (Former Founder) Toni Singleton—founded Kappa Nu Omega Sorority, Inc. The sorority was incorporated just two days later, on July 26, 2024, establishing our foundation in both mission and law.
